About the Role
SGS is seeking a full-time Software Engineer III with experience in frontend development and a desire to grow into more of our software stack. Responsibilities
- Work on various elements of the platform and translating ideas into coherent software development roadmaps
- Participate in, and improve upon our agile development process
- Write robust, maintainable, and future-proof code
- Perform code reviews, engage in software design and architecture discussions, as well as communicate technical information to non-technical teams
- Understand the needs of stakeholders
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or related) degree
- Practical experience contributing to live, production-level software
- In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML, and frontend development methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of the React framework and ecosystem
- Hands-on architect with the ability to write well-documented, extensible code
- Experience building performant, scalable web applications
- Experience implementing meaningful unit testing and building end-to-end testing
- Working knowledge of C#, .NET, Python, or similar OOP language
- Understanding of CI/CD best practices and releasing code utilizing a deployment pipeline
- Continuous learner on new technologies that can determine whether they should be used and what the best approach is for a particular project
- Willingness to own decision-making for technical tasks and projects
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with team leads
- Must be eligible to obtain a US Government security clearance
