As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for the development of software solutions that meet our needs and our clients' requirements. Your expertise in software development and understanding of industry best practices will be crucial in delivering high-quality software solutions that maximize efficiency and scalability.

Preferred in the following local markets: Chicago, Colorado, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Phoenix.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate closely with the Software Architect to accurately interpret business requirements and assist in transforming them into technical specifications for development.

• Engage in the design and development processes under the direction of the Software Architect, ensuring solutions are both innovative and in line with best practices.
• Support the implementation of software solutions, focusing on coding standards, quality assurance, and timely delivery.
• Participate in code review sessions to help maintain high standards of code quality and encourage adherence to best practices.
• Work alongside product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to help define and achieve project goals, manage timelines, and ensure clear communication of deliverables.
• Stay informed about emerging technology trends and contribute ideas for enhancing our software development lifecycle.
• Assist in mentoring junior software engineers, guiding them through complex technical issues and promoting a culture of learning and collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in a software development role, with a strong emphasis on Java. Proficiency in Java is essential, as many of our core systems and applications are Java-based.
• Good understanding of software architecture and its application in project development.
• Proficiency in key programming languages, with a strong command of Java specifically, and familiarity with software development frameworks.
• Experience with cloud technologies and platforms, such as AWS or Azure, which are crucial for modern software deployment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to work on complex software tasks and contribute to solving technical challenges.
• Effective communication skills, capable of collaborating well in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices, aiming to improve the continuity and quality of software development.

The pay range for this role is between $100,000 - $125,000 (base). Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related reasons.
