This role is for a senior creative leader—someone compensated and expected to lead at aCreative Director level, while holding the title ofDesign Manager.You’llpartner closely with the Senior Director,Creative atSolveStudio to define creative direction, elevate craft, and helpestablishthe studio’s creative and operational rhythm at a pivotal moment of growth.

Creative Leadership & Visual Excellence
Lead visual design across high-impact and highly executional company initiatives – setting creativedirection and ensuring exceptional craft across design, activations, photography, video,motionand emerging media.
Function as a heads-on creative leader who can move fluidly between concepting, art direction,constructivecritiqueand execution when needed.
Translate brand strategy into compelling visual systems and storytelling—bringingSolventum’snewly launched brand to life with clarity,consistencyand originality.
Establish and uphold creative standards, ensuring all work reflects best-in-class design thinking and execution.
Represent Solve Studio within the organization modeling trust,credibilityand partnership, including selectively engaging with external agency partners.
StudioPartnership& Team Development
Partner closely with the Senior Director, Creativeof SolveStudio toadvocatethe studio’s creative vision, teamstructureand ways of working.
Mentor and develop designers and creative partners—fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability,inclusionand creative confidence.
Play a key role in building an in-house team from the ground up, helping define roles,workflowsand expectations as the studio scales.
Create an environment where creative talent can do their best work while feeling supported,challengedand inspired.
Integrated Storytelling & Content Creation
Oversee and contribute to integrated visual storytelling across channels, including brand campaigns, marketing assets, digital experiences,photographyand video.
Partner with writers,brandstrategists,project managers,producersand marketers to ensure visual and narrative cohesion across initiatives.
Guideart direction for photo and video shoots, including storyboard development and leadership—aligning creative vision with production realities and businessobjectives.
Modern Creative Operations & AI Enablement
Help shape creative workflows that balance speed,qualityand innovation—defining,embracingandimplementingnew tools, including AI, to enhance creative output and efficiency.
Partner with studio and enterprise leaders to explore how AI can support ideation,productionand scale—whilemaintaininghuman-centered creativity and brand integrity.
Contribute to defining repeatable processes that enable high-quality work in a fast-moving, global environment.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in design (or related)
10+ years of progressive creative experience, includinghands-on design andleadership in an agency or in-house studio environment
Proven ability to lead at a Creative Director level—setting vision, guidingteamsand elevating creative quality
Broad creative skillset with deep experience in visual design anddemonstratedleadership across photography and video
Strong portfolioshowcasingbrand-building work, integratedcampaignsand high-craft visual storytelling
Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and translating complex business needs into compelling creative solutions
Demonstrated people leadership: mentoring talent, giving thoughtfulcritiqueand building strong creative teams
Comfort navigating ambiguity and building structure in a growing, evolving organization
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Experience helping launch or evolve a global brand
Background working within or alongside in-house creative studios
Familiarity with AI-enabled creative tools and interest in shaping their responsible use
Experience in healthcare, regulatedindustriesor purpose-driven organizations
