About the role

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer who will play a crucial role in the creation, testing, debugging, and thorough documentation of both novel applications and improvements to existing systems. The core focus of this role lies in the development and optimization of applications using an extensive stack encompassing MSSQL, React, Next.js, Express, Tailwind CSS, Headless UI, Power BI, Node.js, Swagger.io, and TypeScript.

The main responsibilities/tasks include:

• Design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge, responsive user interfaces with an emphasis on user experience, leveraging technologies such as React, Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Headless UI, based on supplied design mockups.

• Architect and implement Node.js/Express.js-based RESTful APIs for both internal and external applications. Familiarity with Swagger.io for API documentation and design is highly desirable.

• Write, optimize, and manage robust stored procedures for MSSQL database transactions, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance.

• Develop and deliver custom, insightful business reports using Power BI and MSSQL, meeting diverse business needs.

• Engage proactively with the IT department to share knowledge, streamline processes, and increase overall departmental efficiency.

• Contribute to coding standards by responding constructively to feedback from Code Reviewers, Quality Assurance Specialists, and User Acceptance Teams.

• Enhance code readability and maintainability by providing comprehensive comments that articulate the purpose and parameters of classes and functions.

• Promptly and effectively respond to Service Desk tickets, meeting the daily needs and concerns of customers while maintaining high customer service standards.

Job Skills/Requirements
- +90% English written and oral (at least B2 level) with excellent communication skills
- 3+ years of professional experience working with the Microsoft stack, specifically IIS and MSSQL, and authoring JavaScript code.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience writing efficient query statements and stored procedures for MSSQL Server.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working with RESTful APIs, possessing familiarity with JSON and REST.
- 2+ years of experience managing version controls using Git via the command line.
- Prior experience with JavaScript libraries such as React, Next.js, Express.js, and Node.js is highly valued.
- Experience with Auth0 for managing user identities and security in web-based applications will be advantageous.
- Familiarity with Atlassian tools, including JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, or Bamboo, would be a plus.
- Practical experience in writing unit tests and integration tests is appreciated, demonstrating a commitment to code quality and stability.
- Experience maintaining IIS web servers is advantageous, contributing to site reliability and performance.
- Proficiency in TypeScript is a significant advantage, enhancing code safety and tooling.
