Turkish Interpreter

SILA Linguists is seeking a skilled Turkish Interpreter to join our team. As a Turkish Interpreter, you will play a vital role in facilitating effective communication between Turkish-speaking clients and professionals in the accounting field. Your ability to accurately interpret and translate complex financial concepts will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide consecutive interpretation services during meetings, conferences, and other accounting-related events
• Facilitate communication between Turkish-speaking clients and accounting professionals
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality in interpreting financial terminology
• Translate written documents such as financial statements, tax forms, and audit reports from Turkish to English and vice versa
• Assist with the preparation and translation of accounting training materials and presentations
• Conduct research to stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and terminology in both Turkish and English
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent and accurate interpretation and translation services

Requirements

• Fluency in Turkish and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages
• Must be based in Scotland
• Proven experience as an interpreter, ideally in the accounting or finance industry
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and terminology
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in interpretation and translation
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
• Proficiency in using interpretation equipment and software
