About the Role:

Scentbird is the leading fragrance subscription service that allows customers to discover and enjoy premium scents every month. We’re looking for a creative, data-driven, and highly organized Social Media Manager to join our growing team. If you love storytelling, are passionate about social media trends, and excel at using data to drive engagement, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Social Media Management (30%): Plan, schedule, and manage social media calendars, ensuring consistent and timely posting to drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Analyze & Optimize (25%): Monitor and analyze performance metrics (engagement rates, follower growth, conversions, etc.) to inform strategy adjustments. Continuously optimize content and campaigns based on data insights.
  • Develop & Implement Social Media Strategies (20%): Create and execute innovative social media strategies aligned with business goals across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Content Creation (15%): Collaborate with the content team or independently create engaging, original content (videos, graphics, posts) that resonates with our audience and stays on-brand.
  • Trend Research (5%): Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, algorithms, and best practices to ensure our content is fresh, relevant, and ahead of the curve.
  • Collaboration (5%): Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure social media strategies align with broader company initiatives.

What You’ll Need to Have:

  • Experience: 4-5+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
  • Content Creation Skills: Proficiency in creating and editing images, videos, and other media using tools like in-platform social editing, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze social media metrics and translate insights into action to optimize performance.
  • Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple platforms, schedules, and campaigns while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Passion for Social Media: A deep understanding of social media platforms, current trends, and best practices.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling and on-brand messaging.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Dash Hudson, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or native platform analytics).
  • Creativity: A natural storyteller who loves experimenting with content formats and engaging with diverse audiences.
