About Save My Exams
Save My Exams is a rapidly growing EdTech business on the lookout for an ambitious SEO Manager to lead our content SEO and off-page efforts.
Reaching up to 2m monthly active users and on our way to 100,000 paying members, all while being bootstrapped and profitable, we’re looking for an experienced SEO Manager to join our team (reporting to the Head of Marketing) and take our organic search traffic growth to the next level.

Your Responsibilities
- Use topical keyword research and latest SEO best practices to come up with a world-class SEO content strategy that supports Save My Exams’ strategic objectives, then execute brilliantly on that strategy together with the Content, Product, and Marketing teams
- Define, analyse, and report on metrics that inform how both revision & editorial content can drive maximum relevant organic search traffic in a predictable manner
- Take ownership of our editorial content strategy and execution, gaining a deep understanding of SME’s customers, as well as market and competitors to identify areas of growth
- Own the editorial calendar to ensure we maximise our organic search traffic potential throughout the year in line with seasonal trends
- Use your topical keyword research insights to help inform our Product SEO roadmap, pushing for new impactful features on our Product roadmap that help drive long-term growth
- Be the go-to SEO person for the Content team, including planning, ongoing training, and day-to-day SEO related questions
- Identify gaps where additional support is required and hire, train, and manage SEO freelancers to achieve our ambitious SEO content goals
- Continuously increase our domain authority via off-page SEO, including coming up with impactful link-building campaigns both in-house and through external agencies
- Work with the wider Marketing team to leverage our social media channels for SEO
Requirements
Hopefully, you will have some or all of the following:
- Significant on-page & off-page SEO experience with proven results utilising content to drive meaningful organic search traffic
- Experience owning SEO analytics, including topical keyword research & keyword clustering, organic traffic forecasts, and impact analyses (in particular SEO content ROI)
- Previous experience managing editorial content production processes & costs, including hiring freelancers, writing content briefs, ensuring articles are written on time and within budget, as well as tracking performance over time
- Strong success in creating and executing impactful backlink campaigns
- Deep understanding of modern SEO best practices (latest algorithm changes, tooling, etc.)
- A good understanding of technical SEO
- Able to prioritise effectively when faced with a large number of competing opportunities
Some extra skills and experiences that would be great:
- Scale-up background, working for a fast-growing B2C brand
- A background/passion for EdTech or in a content-driven business

The Process
