About the Role

We are looking for an SAP Technology Consultant with hands-on experience in the SAP technology stack - either in ABAP/ backend or Fiori/ frontend development, who is eager to broaden their expertise and dive into our suite of Banking solutions, such as Transactional Banking, Payments Centralization, and Virtual Account Management.

Whether you're passionate about building solutions or prefer designing technical architectures and advising clients, this role offers the flexibility to do both. With your solid technical foundation, you will support our clients in successfully adopting and leveraging our solutions. As an SAP Technology Consultant at Fioneer, you’ll play a key role in shaping, implementing, and optimizing modern banking applications using SAP technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design solution architectures, create effort estimates, and develop technical blueprints.
• Present and explain various design options to clients, recommending the best approach based on our architecture and product standards.
• Configure our products to meet customer requirements by mapping business processes to our existing software.
• Collaborate with our product development teams and customers to co-innovate new features and solutions.
• Support the integration of our solutions into client system landscapes and technical environments.
• Assist in modernizing client infrastructures by transforming on-premise systems into cloud-based deployment models.
• Stay current with SAP technologies and methodologies to continuously drive innovation and improvement.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in SAP development, technology consulting, or SAP technical architecture.
• Experience in designing backend and/or web applications, following product-standard design principles.
• Solid understanding of functional and object-oriented programming paradigms, and the ability to apply them effectively in software development.
• Strong grasp of data structures and algorithms.
• Basic hands-on or oversight experience in SAP ABAP development, with foundational ABAP programming skills.
• Optional: Basic experience in UI/web development using SAPUI5, Fiori, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with SAP Basis and Technology and integration with tools such as SAP Solution Manager, SAP ChaRM, SAP CTS/CTS+, or SAP Transport Management.
• Awareness or experience with SAP BTP, RAP, SAP Edge Integration Cell, and related modern SAP technologies.
• Understanding of on-premise and cloud-based deployment models and integration scenarios.
• Experience in software quality assurance, including unit testing, debugging, and issue resolution.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with customers, product owners, business analysts, developers, and testers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in both German and English is required.
