We are seeking a skilled Java Full Stack Developer to become part of our dynamic product development team. You’ll work on one of Europe’s largest and most trusted banking platforms, impacting millions of users across the continent.
In this role, you will contribute to the entire software development lifecycle and ensure high-quality deliverables. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing software solutions based on approved designs and performing comprehensive developer testing to maintain exceptional code quality.
- Conducting functional integration tests during internal testing phases and promptly addressing any issues identified.
- Taking ownership of problem resolution during internal and external testing to guarantee smooth deployment.
- Investigating and resolving complex challenges in both new and existing code, applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Delivering high-quality code within short development and release cycles, actively supporting team objectives.
- Collaborating effectively with distributed teams across different locations to ensure seamless communication and project success.
- Applying agile methodologies throughout the development process, including coding, testing, quality assurance, and documentation.

Product Technology Stack
1. Web Application Developer
- Strong development knowledge of Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, EclipseLink, SOAP, REST APIs, Microservices, OData
- Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript (ES6), CSS, JSON, XML
- Hands-on experience with UI frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or UI5 (preferred), using MVC pattern
- Database expertise: PostgreSQL, Oracle
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud-native development experience on platforms like Azure, AWS, OpenShift (preferred)
2. Mobile Application Developer
- Strong development skills in Flutter, Android/iOS, and Hybrid App development (JavaScript, HTML5)
- Knowledge of integration with native device plugins for security, storage, push notifications, OCR, etc.
- Backend expertise: Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, EclipseLink, SOAP, REST APIs, Microservices, OData
- Database experience: PostgreSQL, Oracle
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud-native development experience on Azure, AWS, OpenShift (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
- Tooling exposure: Eclipse, Visual Studio Code
- Strong understanding of Design Patterns, data structures, and algorithms
- Solid grasp of functional and object-oriented programming paradigms
- Experience collaborating with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and business analysts to translate concepts into functional applications
- Ability to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces across devices and browsers
- Skilled in unit testing and debugging
- Experience in financial or banking systems is an advantage
Education and Qualifications / Skills and Competencies
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent qualification
- Advanced proficiency in English and German, with strong verbal and written communication skills
