A Brief Overview

The Environmental, Health & Safety Analyst will perform analysis of all safety and compliance data, creates and maintains reports and scorecards, and assists with defining and implementing new business processes in support of the company's EHS objectives, performance, and goals to reduce risk throughout the company. This position collects and interprets data to help the company take actionable steps to improve their safety performance. The Safety Analyst gathers company and industry information and statistics, creates charts and graphs to present results to leaders and is focused on finding ways to improve the company's safety programs and practices.

This individual will be essential in contributing to Safelite's "People Powered, Customer Driven" mentality, ensuring fleet safety practices within the organization best support internal and external stakeholders alike. The ideal candidate will be someone who understands the importance of, and is dedicated to, the front-line employees.

What you will do:

  • Develop and deliver advanced routine and ad hoc reports utilizing systems i.e., Origami, Lytx, Tableau, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Excel, and other reporting tools for aggregate reporting for Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) data.

  • Manage and support data reporting obligations for Origami, Tableau systems, and other Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) data sources to support decision-making and compliance.

  • Partner with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team members, field leaders and vendors to provide quality line listings, tabulations, and other (EHS) systems data requests to support decision-making and compliance

  • Prepare and present Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) visual reports, including graphs, charts, and trend analyses

  • Support incident investigations and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) trend analysis by supplying accurate and organized data to stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e., Supply Chain, Field Operations, PLD, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) team) to gather and verify data inputs.

  • Support compliance tracking by ensuring data aligns with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.

  • Validate, clean, and maintain datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

  • Earn the trust, confidence, and endorsement of key leaders as a colleague, advisor, and collaborative leader.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Complies with all policies and standards

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree In Safety, Supply Chain or Business related field Preferred

  • 1-3 years Experience in analyzing reports and trends Required

  • 1-3 years Experience with other parts of the business preferred. Preferred

  • Project Management experience

  • Data analytics experience – using tools like Tableau, Power Bi, Excel and other Microsoft Office products.

  • Ability to deliver clear, engaging presentations to audiences of all sizes, both virtually and in person.

  • Experience with a growth organization focused on culture and engagement.

  • Experience in participating in national initiatives with heavy change management requirements.

Expected Work Location (Remote): It is expected that you will primarily perform work remotely. You may be asked to travel, as needed, to theSafelite Home Office (7400 Safelite Way, Columbus, OH 43235), or to other location(s) as designated by the Company. Changes to work location arrangements are subject to managerial approval and business needs.
