Ryz Labs is looking for a Data Scientist to join one of our clients. This Data Scientist will sit within the Analytics team within the larger Product org. This is a high-impact role where you will get to partner with leaders to help define KPIs and own measurement and analysis of product metrics. This includes analyzing, testing and building dashboards to monitor tech product performance, as well as identifying new opportunities to improve KPIs and providing actionable recommendations to inform product roadmaps.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in NLP and data science, working with unstructured or multimodal data
- Strong ability to build and maintain data pipelines with validation and monitoring
- Hands-on experience with NLP and LLM techniques such as embeddings, semantic similarity, and tokenization
- Skilled in ML experimentation and evaluation metrics
- Proficient in writing production-quality Python code
- Experience with cloud-based AI development, preferably on AWS (e.g. S3, Lambda, Bedrock, DynamoDB)
Nice-to-Have
- Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith
- Experience with Streamlit for prototyping and tooling
- Exposure to CI/CD workflows and unit testing best practices
- Experience with FastAPI and cloud deployment
Responsibilities
- Parse and process unstructured and multimodal data to improve chatbot knowledge base
- Build, monitor, and maintain data pipelines with validation and error handling
- Apply NLP and LLM methods to build and optimize semantic search and generative modeling workflows
- Design and run experiments and evaluations, using appropriate ML metrics
- Write clean, scalable Python code to operationalize AI models and backend systems
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver customer-facing features
- Build CI/CD pipelines and unit tests to support deployment workflows
- Use LangChain ecosystem LangGraph, LangSmith) for LLM orchestration
- Prototype tools and interfaces using Streamlit
You will:
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to define clear, actionable metrics that measure product success and adoption.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track performance trends of tech products (e.g., up-selling platform, pre-arrival verification flow) and ensure stakeholders have timely, reliable insights.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to diagnose changes in performance, uncover drivers, and answer high-priority business questions.
- Identify new opportunities for product growth or optimization by analyzing user behavior, conversion funnels, and engagement patterns.
- Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional partners, influencing product roadmaps and KPI improvements.
