Collins Aerospace is seeking a .NET Software Developer to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative aerospace solutions by developing and maintaining software applications using the .NET framework. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable software that supports the company’s mission of advancing aviation technology.

** This individual can sit at any Collins domestic location or remote. **

What YOU will do:

  • Design, develop and/or re-engineer complex application components and integrate software and programs within the custom .net and Redwood RunMyJobs environments to ensure alignment with architectural and compliance standards and guidelines.

  • Leads overall design, delivery and performance of the components of the implementation process and application deployment.

  • Assess and optimize the performance of new and existing features by actively participating in requirements capture, functional and user acceptance testing and system configuration.

  • Design and support complex integrations with BackOffice applications. Support integration related to billing service functions and satellite services provisioning.

  • Participates in application software release updates including reviewing impact to Collins environment, assessment of new features, and testing new features/updates.

  • Knowledge sharing and coaching the IT team and business stakeholders as necessary.

  • Participation in executing and improving the continuous improvement processes.

  • Participate in agile activities for user stories, grooming, sprint planning with product owners, quality assurance and professional services teams.

  • Support the Test Lead and testing activities (test plan / test creation).

  • Assist in creating the long-term operating model and strategic product roadmap for Custom .NET application including future enhancements and sustainment activities.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience oran Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.

  • Experience with .NET and MVC.

  • Experience with SQL and Oracle.

  • experience with Window based applicants.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.This role is a U.S.-based role.
