Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Revenue Operations Specialist to optimize and manage our quote-to-cash (QTC) process within accounting. This role is vital in ensuring smooth revenue operations by maintaining data integrity across multiple systems, driving operational efficiency, and supporting both internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate possesses strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys diving into complex datasets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. You will play a key role in financial operations, working cross-functionally to streamline processes, enhance revenue reporting, and maintain compliance with industry standards.

Position Holder is Accountable For:

  • Oversee and optimize the quote-to-cash process to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Analyze financial data, revenue streams, and customer transactions to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Finance, Customer Success, and Operations) to resolve revenue-related challenges.
  • Interact with external customers, addressing revenue inquiries and ensuring accurate billing processes.
  • Maintain and improve data integrity within financial and CRM systems, ensuring proper alignment across platforms.
  • Identify inefficiencies within revenue workflows and propose strategic solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles, revenue recognition policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support financial audits and reporting by providing relevant data insights.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in revenue operations, accounting, finance, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of quote-to-cash workflows, billing processes, and revenue recognition.
  • Proven experience working with financial and operational systems (CRM, ERP, billing software, etc.).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Preferred experience with Salesforce and/or Sage Intacct, including revenue and financial operations within these platforms.
  • Exceptional analytical skills—comfortable working with large datasets and complex financial models.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of translating data insights into actionable strategies.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating across departments.
  • Excellent communication skills—confident in engaging with both external customers and internal teams.

The estimated annual base salary for this position is $70,000-$75,000. Please note that this range does not include any other compensation or benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, level of education attained, and/or professional certifications, years of relevant experience, special skills, etc.
