Natcast

Natcast, officially the National Center for the Advancement of Semiconductor Technology, stands as a purpose-built, non-profit entity. It has been designated by the U.S. Department of Commerce to operate the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC), a significant initiative established under the CHIPS and Science Act. At its core, Natcast is dedicated to fostering a robust public-private consortium aimed at propelling semiconductor research and development (R&D) within the United States. The organization's mission is to convene a diverse array of stakeholders, including the U.S. government, allied and partner nations, academic institutions, and businesses of all sizes from across the entire semiconductor ecosystem. This collaborative approach is designed to tackle the most formidable obstacles hindering technological advancement in the domestic semiconductor industry, with a particular emphasis on cultivating a highly skilled and capable workforce.
