Revenue Recognition Accountant

In this role you will ensure excellence in revenue recognition practices across Natcast's diverse revenue streams, supporting America's semiconductor innovation mission through robust financial compliance and reporting.

Every day you will analyze complex contracts, implement accounting standards, and provide critical guidance while maintaining the highest levels of financial accuracy and control.

The Revenue Recognition Accountant role offers an exceptional opportunity to shape financial excellence in semiconductor innovation. Supporting Natcast's diverse revenue streams, this position ensures robust compliance while providing critical insights that guide strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and apply relevant accounting standards for revenue recognition

  • Write revenue recognition policies for diverse revenue streams

  • Review and interpret complex contract terms

  • Assess sales contracts and non-standard transactions under ASC 606

  • Perform technical research and analysis

  • Execute monthly and quarterly close tasks

  • Establish and maintain revenue recognition policies

  • Design and implement effective accounting processes

  • Coordinate audit support and documentation

  • Develop and maintain revenue recognition models

  • Work cross-functionally to ensure policy compliance

  • Generate revenue performance insights

  • Manage billings and reconciliations

  • Monitor industry standards and best practices

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting

  • Active CPA license

  • 6+ years combined Big 4 and corporate revenue accounting experience

  • Strong ASC 606 technical expertise

  • Experience with diverse revenue streams (memberships, R&D, manufacturing, services)

  • Excellence in Excel and financial systems

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Process improvement capabilities

  • Cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Technology industry experience

  • ERP implementation expertise

  • Process automation capabilities

  • Data visualization skills

  • Construction revenue experience
