Responsibilities

At RecargaPay, we go beyond simply tracking delinquency, we build the intelligence that fuels profitability. Our Collections team is evolving from a support role into a true strategic driver of the business.

We’re looking for a Collections Strategy Specialist who thinks and acts like an owner. This is not about running reports, it’s about deeply understanding the portfolio, identifying leakage points, and designing scalable, data-driven recovery engines.

If you are driven by maximizing ROI, optimizing LGD, and delivering measurable impact on the bottom line through sharp analytical thinking and proactive ownership, this is where you belong.

  • Strategic Portfolio Ownership: Develop and execute segmentation strategies based on risk modeling and customer behavior, moving beyond basic aging buckets.
  • Deep-Dive Analytics: Monitor, analyze, and explain variances in core KPIs such as $Roll-Rates$, $Flow-Rates$, $Cure-Rates$, and $Loss-Given-Default (LGD)$.
  • Unit Economics Optimization: Balance recovery rates against collection costs (internal vs. external) to ensure maximum net efficiency.
  • Process Transformation: Identify bottlenecks in the collection funnel and proactively lead cross-functional projects (Product, Engineering, Data Science) to automate and improve the UX.
  • A/B Testing Champion: Design, implement, and measure experiments across different communication channels, messaging tones, and settlement offers.
  • Performance Reporting: Translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic presentations for senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Analytical Powerhouse: Proven ability to turn raw data into business strategy. You should be comfortable challenging the status quo with numbers.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL is mandatory for data extraction and manipulation. Proficiency in BI tools is required.
  • Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of credit products, P&L impact, and provisioning (PCLD).
  • Protagonism & Ownership: A "get it done" mindset. You take full responsibility for the results of your portfolio and lead solutions without being asked.
  • Effective Communication: Ability to articulate complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly and persuasively.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in Fintechs, Neobanks, or high-growth technology environments.
  • Experience with Collection Automation and managing APIs for third-party recovery partners.
  • Familiarity with AI/Machine Learning tools applied to credit recovery and propensity-to-pay models.

Industry-Specific Knowledge

You have broad, real-world experience establishing and scaling Developer Experience practices in complex, regulated environments, with a strong preference for fintech contexts; you turn developer needs into clear golden paths, lightweight standards, and supportive tooling that improve flow and quality and productivity without adding friction, and guide organizations through the cultural and operational shifts required for sustained adoption.
