Senior Backend Engineer

We are looking for someone to help build our success through scaling and transforming our datasets for our upcoming new product lines (whilst uncovering key data trends for our existing products). What we’re looking for

●5+ years of professional engineering experience, not necessarily all backend

●Excellent experience in working with SQL databases (Postgres SQL)

●Excellent coding skills with Go

●Excellent API development skills for high-performance front-end applications

●Excellent knowledge of scripting, debugging and performance tools

●Professional experience developing data solutions in AWS infrastructure

●Experience of deployment and release cycle using Github

●Experience managing more junior team members

What You’ll be Doing:

●Developing new high-performance APIs to serve our front-end applications and client facing API suite

●Developing new back-end solutions between the data engineering and front-end teams

●Fixing and debugging any problems that arise

● You’re independent – You’ll be part of a team but you’ll also be singularly responsible for various projects.

50,000 - 70,000 GBP / Per Annum Depending on Experience
