Location: Remote - Canada. Candidates MUST be based in Canada to be considered.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Deals Manager to join our Transactions Team at Real. The successful candidate will lead the team and focus on conveyancing, transaction settlement and disbursement authorization verification, interpret and verify documents for accuracy, and ensure funds are applied appropriately and agents are paid timely. Experience in the Real Estate Industry is a requirement. Individuals with an active real estate license are encouraged to apply.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Work remotely and within virtual real estate transaction management platforms

  • Manage all aspects of the transactions department to verify accuracy of conveyancing letters, trade record sheets and commission disbursements to ensure agent payment processes run smoothly and efficiently.

  • Maintain transaction data integrity across transaction management, accounting, administrative and customer support platforms.

  • Produce and analyze production reports to determine inefficiencies, needed platform improvements.

  • Lead team by example.

  • Resolve escalated support tickets

  • Check all back-office systems accuracy of file information

  • Assist agents with payment processing management platform and commission disbursement questions.

  • Assist accounting with reconciling TRSs and settlement documents ensuring outstanding agent experience

  • Communicate and answer agent questions in a timely manner

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Possesses skills and ability to lead and motivate team

  • Process-oriented and technology-minded with a focus on operational workflow

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to make quick decisions and solve problems using good judgment

  • Ability to read and interpret documents including real estate contracts, leases, and settlement statements

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and collaborate well with others

  • Servant Leadership minded with a focus on providing excellent service to the agents

Education and Experience:

  • 2-4 years experience as team leader

  • 3+ years of brokerage conveyancing experience

  • Must have experience in the real estate operational process with a focus on delivering accurate and timely service
