About the Android team

Our Android team is comprised of 4 developers, and we are an integral part of the mobile team, which includes a total of 14 members including iOS developers, QA testers, product managers, and designers.

Our approach centers around prioritizing progress through pragmatism, and placing a strong emphasis on practical solutions. We value open communication within the team, a practice that contributes to the overall quality of our work. As a team we actively incorporate AI-enhancing tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot into our development process, enhancing our efficiency and output.

We are constantly researching and seeking ways to improve our code base. In the ever-evolving landscape of the crypto space, we get to work on problems no one else is working on and developing brand new features.

As Android Engineer, you will get to:

You'll be crucial to our effort to build the best mobile product in crypto and fintech. To do this you'll take ownership of the entire development lifecycle, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and quickly ship features in an agile environment. All of this whilst working with cutting-edge technology.

Your experience should include:

• Kotlin 💜
• Reactive programming (Coroutines + Flow 😍)
• Strong computer science fundamentals
• Architecture design patterns
• Network protocols and data persistence techniques
• Compose knowledge to deliver the best UX
• 2-3 years of experience as an Android Engineer

You might also have:

• Experience in blockchain technologies
• Understanding of public key cryptography and digital signatures
• Common Android libraries such as Dagger, Retrofit, Room & Coil
• DevOps skills
• Testing Android apps with unit tests and UI tests
• Eager to research and learn new technologies
• Implementing security best practices for safeguarding data on a mobile device
