We are looking for a Junior Sales Manager in India to join our international B2B brand RateHawk, develop our business and make the travel world better together!
Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Verify legitimate and prospect new clients within the Indian travel industry, including travel agencies, tour operators, and online travel agencies (OTAs).
- Client Acquisition: Reach new self-registered partners within 15 minutes during working hours. Actively pursue leads, conduct sales presentations, and negotiate contracts to acquire new clients and expand Ratehawk's customer base.
- Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients, serving as their primary point of contact and addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of Ratehawk's products, services, and competitive advantages, and effectively communicate these to clients to drive sales and client satisfaction.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue generation in the Indian market.
- Sales Reporting: Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics, and prepare regular reports for management review.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in sales or business development roles, preferably in the travel industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to overcome objections and drive deals to closure.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the Indian travel market and industry dynamics is a plus.
