About the Role

We are looking for a Risk Compliance Manager to ensure that Proof operates within all regulatory and contractual guidelines, enhancing our operations and compliance stature in a complex, multi-jurisdictional landscape. This pivotal role will have a direct impact on our growth, operational efficiency, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Compliance Management: Oversee all business operations relating to governmental and contractual compliance, including policy development, investments, and vendor management.
• Reporting and Audits: Manage compliance reporting internally, to the Board of Directors, and to external parties. Conduct periodic audits to ensure continuous compliance and process improvement.
• Control Systems: Develop and maintain control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.
• Quality Controls Assurance: Function as the primary owner for quality programs related to service of process and client success at the individual job level.
• Project Leadership: Lead projects to enhance internal systems and tools, collaborating closely with the VP of Operations.
• Data-Driven Insights: Analyze data to identify trends and improve processes, working with data analysts to create meaningful reports for strategic decisions.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization, focusing on technical workflows across the organization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment of compliance with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; further education or certification in legal, compliance, or risk management preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in managing governmental compliance, preferably in the legal services industry.
• Strong understanding of multi-state licensing requirements and third-party management.
• Proven project management skills and a successful track record in leading cross-functional teams.
• Analytical mindset capable of deriving actionable insights from complex data.
• Exceptional communication skills with proficiency in managing stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to travel as necessary to meet business needs.

Compensation

• Salary range $70,000 - $90,000 based on experience and location
• Eligible to participate in company bonus plan
