How will you make a difference to PMI?
The Supervisor, Credit & Collections will oversee the credit and collections team as a crucial role in managing credit risk and ensuring efficient collection of revenues. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in credit analysis and debt collection, excellent leadership skills and the ability to implement effective credit policies and procedures.
What you’ll bring to the role:
• Credit Risk Management: Oversee credit risk assessments and set credit limits by analyzing customer financial information and market conditions.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and train the credit and collections team, setting clear goals and monitoring performance to ensure high productivity and excellent customer service.
• Debt Collection: Develop strategies to maximize timely debt recovery, overseeing the collection processes and handling escalated collection issues.
• Policy and Procedure Development: Update and enhance credit and collection policies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce financial risk.
• Reporting and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Generate reports on credit and collections activities for senior management.
• Customer Negotiations: Negotiate with delinquent accounts, arrange payment schedules, and maintain positive customer relations.
Role Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in credit and collections with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of credit reporting and collections practices.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficient in using financial software and MS Office.
