Scope of Work
Prime is seeking an Impact Accountability Fellow for CRANE, a free and open source tool used to calculate forward-looking impacts of emerging technologies using Project Frame’s Pre-Investment Methodology. The tool aims to help early stage investors and climate ventures identify solutions with the highest climate impact by making impact calculations more accessible. With over 5,000 users subscribed and the official launch of The CRANE Tool at San Francisco Climate Week, CRANE is influencing critical decisions today and will expand substantially this year. We are seeking a Fellow to support CRANE in maximizing its benefits to as many ventures and investors as possible.
This role will have two main responsibilities: to further support existing users in their user journey and to help expand the user base of The CRANE Tool. The former includes activities such as expanding our training materials, providing 1:1 user support, collecting feedback from users for the further development of the tool, and establishing a CRANE community of practice. Expanding CRANE’s user base involves activities such as outreach to organizations that may benefit from the tool, hosting tool workshops, and contributing to development strategy. The Fellow will report to Prime’s Impact Accountability Manager and will work in close collaboration with Prime’s CRANE development partner, Rho Impact. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

User Expansion
- Source and contact organizations to introduce them to our tool
- Host training sessions and webinars to attract and onboard new users
- Continuously collect, organize, and translate feedback from current and potential users to contribute to our strategy for how to further develop the tool and ensure alignment with user/industry context
Impact Accountability Team Support
- Work collaboratively with Prime’s Impact Accountability team to provide the CRANE user perspective
- Conduct research as needed to complement additional team programming and activities
