Perficient is excited to offer a career opportunity for a Content Strategist, working remotely from any location in the continental US (with the ability to work within EST or CST business hours). You will join Perficient's Digital Marketing group, report to a Content Lead, and serve as a consultant on enterprise client accounts.

The Content Strategist will drive project teams toward successful organic search program delivery, including but not limited to: executing on-page SEO, interlinking, and backlink audits; conducting keyword research and SERP analysis; optimizing metadata, title tags, and meta descriptions; overseeing organic SEO content creation and link building campaigns. They may also be asked to engage in omnichannel marketing strategy efforts, email marketing strategy, and information architecture and taxonomy projects.

The ideal candidate will seamlessly blend strong client management skills with content strategy expertise, rooted in a sound understanding of organic SEO best practices as well as client target audiences, competitive market dynamics, digital marketing strategies, and business goals.   • Leading or co-leading client engagements that include organic search campaign development, search engine optimization, on-page content optimization, and performance analysis and reporting.
  • Developing content strategies and programs in collaboration with the client, other internal stakeholders, and lines of business on program execution. In doing so, you will act as trusted adviser on content efforts, leveraging insights about their business challenges and opportunities as inputs.
  • Recommending new initiatives that drive future client growth, and provide an experience that culminates in innovative, results-oriented work product.
  • Delivering content programs and projects on time and on budget. Critical to this position is your ability to analyze project requirements, organize and prioritize tasks, identify risks early, and manage the content program process efficiently.
  • Providing direction and oversight to multidisciplinary team members supporting content program execution, and guiding their efforts through the entire project lifecycle.
  • 6+ years of experience managing corporate and/or client complex content marketing programs.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage digital content programs through the entire project lifecycle, including strategy, keyword research and SERP analysis, execution, reporting, and maintenance.
  • Experience working with clients and/or internal stakeholders to develop content program plans, creative briefs, and professional communications.
  • Proven success managing and delivering content programs with a data-driven approach, and general experience applying those capabilities within different web environments, such as content management systems, marketing automation systems, and mobile apps.
  • Experience setting and communicating priorities to project teams, while managing multiple, often fast-paced projects simultaneously.
  • Client-centric work ethic and ability to motivate and foster a sense of teamwork among project team members and the client.
  • The professionalism, confidence, and attention to detail necessary to earn the respect of client executives, peers, and project team members.
  • Superior analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $45,000 to $101,000. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
