Full Stack Developer (Frontend/Backend)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to take charge of the day-to-day development of Everskies.com, working directly under the guidance of both the CEO of Pocket Worlds and the creator of Everskies. This role offers a unique opportunity to be the sole developer on this project, crafting engaging user experiences and robust backend solutions and running a live product with 200k+ DAU.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the development and maintenance of Everskies.com.

• Collaborate closely with both the CEO of Pocket Worlds and the original creator of Everskies to understand vision, requirements, and user feedback.

• Develop and optimize front-end features using Angular and ensure seamless integration with backend services.

• Design and implement backend services using PHP and Go, focusing on performance, scalability, and security.

• Manage databases using MySQL and MongoDB, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.

• Integrate and maintain messaging services using RabbitMQ.

• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure robust, bug-free code.

• Monitor, identify, and resolve performance bottlenecks.

• Keep abreast of new technology developments and suggest adaptations of the tech stack as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a strong portfolio in both frontend and backend development.

• Expertise in PHP, Go, Angular, MySQL, MongoDB, and RabbitMQ.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with non-technical stakeholders.

• Passion for creating a user-friendly environment for both team members and customers.
