We're looking for an Associate Contracts Counsel to join our team!
Phreesia, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Counsel based in India to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of legal processes related to vendor contracts, BAAs, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). This role requires a minimum of 5 years of legal experience, fluency in English, and the ability to work Eastern Standard Time hours.
What You'll Do:
- Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including vendor agreements, service agreements, and NDAs.
- Provide legal advice and support to various business units within the company on contract matters.
- Ensure all contracts are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the global legal team to align strategies and enhance efficiency.
- Handle contract disputes and negotiations with professionalism and legal expertise.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation that may affect the company and its operations.
- Assisting in the consolidation of all contracts to facilitate the training of artificial intelligence (AI) systems. and related processes.
What You'll Bring:
- Law degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract law, with a strong background in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contracts.
- Licensed to practice law in India.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work flexible hours to overlap with Eastern Standard Time.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.
- Experience in the healthcare or technology sectors is a plus.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
The role requires people to work in night shifts.
Shift time: 3:30 pm to 12:30 am IST
