About Canopy
Canopy is a fintech startup building a tech-driven alternative to platforms like AngelList to allow anyone to form their own investment syndicates and funds. (Think Shopify for investment funds!) Our mission is to democratize access to alternative investments by both empowering emerging fund managers to easily share opportunities, as well as enabling individual investors to confidently invest in private assets through a streamlined and transparent investing experience.
Since running our first deal in January of 2021, Canopy now supports over $100M in assets under management across 100 portfolio companies, providing access to over 2,000 individual investors.
