Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Consultant

What will you be doing?

• You will be contributing to the solution of large Oracle EBS/Fusion/ERP Cloud (Fusion) transformation programs.
• Manage different phases of the consulting lifecycle - working with the stakeholders in Pythian’s customers financial organizations in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), and Fitment recommendation.
• You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; to define the problem, propose, and play an important role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution.
• Guide Pythian’s teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, customer training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope.
• Shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable Pythian’s customers to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

While we realise you might not have everything to be the successful candidate for the Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Consultant job you will likely have skills such as -
• Experience in implementing Oracle EBS /Financials Cloud for a large enterprises ideally implementing Oracle EBS R12 (Preferably R12.2) but Financials is a MUST Full implementation lifecycle of at least 1 Oracle ERP Cloud Financials project (Release 10 or later) would be ideal.
• Oracle EBS/Financials Cloud implementation experience in at least one or more of these modules: Financial Accounting Hub, General Ledger, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service.
• Oracle Financials Functional Experience (FAH, GL) and with good understanding of EBS/Financials Cloud technical data flow between financials/ accounting and the other modules of the Oracle Financials System.
• Functional design and configuration experience with some combination of the following Oracle Cloud Financials/Oracle EBS modules in: General Ledger (GL), Sub-ledger Accounting (SLA), Financial Accounting Hub (FAH), Procure to Pay (P2P), Invoice, Record to Report (R2R, RtR).
• Demonstrated experience as an architect in the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to- be business process designs, conference room pilots (CRPs) functional configuration, testing, client user training.
• Experience leading functional and technical teams to support existing systems and implement new systems, processes and procedures.
• Research, evaluate and establish business processes associated with ERP.
• In-depth understanding of how to plan, assist and deliver migration of customers data, business processes from On-Premise to Oracle ERP Cloud service.
• Solid understanding of the Finance function specifically Controllership, including operating models and supporting organization structures, and process best practices.
• Designing finance, accounting, consolidations, and reporting solutionsExpertise in consolidations, reporting, analytics in the following technologies: Oracle/EBS, Oracle Cloud Financials, Oracle Fusion.
• Relevant finance and consulting experience, preferably in a professional services firm.
• A Bachelors / Masters in Finance is preferred.
