YOUR TOP RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will analyze data and build dashboards, visualizations, and automated reports using Power BI, SSRS, or other BI tools, regularly sharing and presenting these to stakeholders across departments to support data-driven decision-making.
- You will respond to data retrieval requests and escalate database issues or complex reporting needs to the manager or an outside vendor where necessary.
- You will help build and maintain data pipelines for our SQL Server and/or Snowflake data lake.
- You will measure and audit data for quality issues, develop protocols to assess database results and resolve problem areas.
- You will assist the Database Operations Manager in customizing software UI, including designing, installing, and updating.
- You will assist in creating and delivering end-user training and documentation and contribute expertise to operations and technical support teams.
- You will participate in system administration functions, including, but not limited to, data validation processes, imports/exports, duplicate resolution processes, system change requests, and system integration/user acceptance testing, to ensure the ongoing integrity and security of data consistent with PRM policies.
- You will participate in devotions, prayers, or other organizational activities that promote a credible Christian witness and lifestyle, specifically teaching others to steward data and electronics in a biblical manner.
- You will assist the Database Operations Team in any other tasks as assigned.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE
- A bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in clearly communicating technical concepts to internal an external non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Virtuous CRM; experience with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge is a plus.
- Experience with CaseWorthy case management software is a plus.
- Experience with process improvement using software solutions.
- Experience with Snowflake data lakes and/or Microsoft SQL Server databases along with T-SQL coding.
- You have exceptional knowledge of database design and reporting. Experience with Microsoft’s SSRS, SSMS, Visual Studio, Power Query, and Power BI are a plus.
- You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and can perform complex data analysis and audit validations.
- You are incredibly meticulous with the ability to manage complex, detailed, and comprehensive information.
- You can work independently on multiple projects and set and meet deadlines.
- You have a solid and credible Christian witness and lifestyle that exemplifies Christ in character and actions.
