PERTS

Through its innovative programs, PERTS (Project for Education Research That Scales) is dedicated to transforming educational environments for K-12 and higher education institutions alike. Founded in 2010 at Stanford University, PERTS operates as an edtech nonprofit that utilizes research-driven techniques to bolster student motivation and academic achievement. The organization is focused on enhancing student voice in the classroom, recognizing that when students feel heard and understood, their engagement and performance significantly improve.

With an array of evidence-based programs implemented across over 400 schools and colleges, PERTS aims to provide educators with the tools necessary to create conditions that foster both engagement and equitable learning outcomes. PERTS focuses on utilizing psychological sciences to generate actionable insights that empower educators to better understand their students’ experiences and develop environments conducive to learning. Our commitment to enabling positive change in educational practices is evident in the collaborative partnerships we form with various educational institutions and organizations, with the goal of ensuring that all students have equitable access to supportive educational experiences.
