We are seeking a dynamic and visionary individual to join our team as the Product Manager for Master Data Management (MDM). In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for defining the product vision and strategy for our MDM solution, writing and prioritizing requirements, driving resolution of master data pain points, assessing business impact and value for initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, monitoring market trends, and ensuring the competitiveness and innovation of our MDM solution. As the owner of the product backlog, you will play a critical role in Agile development, leading backlog prioritization, grooming, and refinement efforts

  • Define Product Vision and Strategy:
    • Lead the development of the product vision and strategy for the MDM solution.
    • Ensure alignment with business needs, priorities, and technical requirements.
  • Define and Prioritize Requirements:
    • Gather input from stakeholders, business users, and technology teams to define and prioritize requirements for the MDM solution.
    • Translate business needs into clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
    • Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it accurately reflects business needs and priorities.
  • Assess Business Impact and Value:
    • Evaluate the business impact and value of MDM initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and priorities.
  • Drive Resolution of Data Pain Points:
    • Facilitate cross-collaboration with Business and IT stakeholders to address data pain points.
    • Translate issues into requirements and coordinate the resolution path across Business, IT, and Enterprise Data & Insight teams.
    • Champion initiatives to improve data quality, integrity, and governance within the MDM solution.
  • Work with Cross-Functional Teams:
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver MDM solutions.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within an Agile framework.
  • Monitor Market Trends:
    • Stay informed about market trends and emerging technologies in the MDM space.
    • Use market insights to inform product strategy and ensure the competitiveness and innovation of the MDM solution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as a product manager in the MDM or data management space.
  • Expert knowledge in MDM concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong proficiency in defining roadmaps and prioritizing product feature requirements for Master Data Management (MDM) solutions is essential.
  • Experience working as a Product Owner or Scrum Master in Agile environments with exposure to Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
  • Experience overseeing implementations of at least 2 vendor MDM tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze data, metrics, and user feedback to make informed decisions and prioritize product features.
  • Exposure to data management, analytics, and insights programs.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data governance, data quality management, and data integration.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results.
  • Knowledge of gaming and technology to better understand business needs and market trends.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executives, business users, and technical teams.
  • Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in MDM and data management.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is to $81,978 to 178,090. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
