About the Role

As a UI/UX Developer, you'll bridge the gap between design and development, translating user research and wireframes into functional and visually appealing interfaces. You'll work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure seamless user experiences across our web and mobile applications.

What you’ll do

UI/UX Design & Development:

  • Design and develop user interfaces for web-based applications, ensuring responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.

  • Design and develop user interfaces specifically optimized for iPad applications, adhering to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines.

  • Translate wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups into high-fidelity user interfaces.

  • Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate design concepts and user flows.

  • Implement UI animations and transitions to enhance user engagement.

iPad-Specific Development:

  • Optimize UI/UX for iPad's unique features, including multi-touch gestures, screen orientation, and large display interactions.

  • Ensure seamless integration with iPad's native functionalities and APIs.

  • Develop and test UI/UX components specifically for iPad applications.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure seamless integration of design and development.

  • Communicate design concepts and technical requirements effectively.

  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.

  • Contribute to the development of design systems and style guides, including those tailored for iPad applications.

Development Best Practices:

  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.

  • Follow established coding standards and best practices.

  • Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to inform design decisions.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends and technologies, particularly those relevant to iOS..

Prototyping:

  • Create interactive prototypes to demonstrate UI/UX concepts.

Requirements

What You Bring

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).

  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.

  • Experience designing and developing for iPad applications.

  • Familiarity with UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).

  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).

Experience

  • 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX development, with a focus on web and iPad applications.

  • Proven track record of designing and developing user-friendly interfaces for both web and iPad platforms.

  • Portfolio demonstrating your UI/UX design and development skills, including examples of iPad-optimized interfaces.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

  • A passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
