With a strong global presence, they operate online stores in the US, UK, and EU, offering direct-to-consumer (DTC) products that bring joy to customers worldwide. Their remote team is spread across different locations, working collaboratively to expand their product offerings and enhance the customer experience.
About the Role
We’re seeking a dynamic, results-driven Product Research and Development Manager to drive our US product expansion and growth. This role will lead the research and development of new products, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer preferences. The ideal candidate will have experience in e-commerce, product sourcing, and supply chain management, with a keen eye for innovation and quality.
Work hours: EST 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM (7:00 PM – 4:00 AM Manila)
Work set-up: Remote
What you’ll do
Lead the research and development of new products and suppliers in the US market, ensuring alignment with customer needs and industry trends.
Collaborate with internal teams (design, marketing, operations) and external suppliers to manage the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch.
Ensure cost-effective, high-quality production and service.
Create and maintain detailed project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met.
Explore opportunities to expand into new product categories or enhance existing ones.
Use data to forecast product demand and optimize inventory planning.
Stay updated on e-commerce and print-on-demand (POD) industry innovations to keep the brand
Requirements
What You Bring
3+ years of experience in product research, development, and supply chain, ideally within e-commerce, print-on-demand (POD), or DTC businesses in the US market.
Proven track record of successfully launching products from concept to market.
Experience with the entire supply chain including research, analysis, sourcing, supplier outreach, negotiation, product integration, implementation, and quality control.
Technical understanding of production processes, operations, and print technologies (such as sublimation and digital printing) is an advantage.
Strong project management skills with experience using tools like Asana or similar platforms.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
