Role Overview
We’re looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer (with video editing skills) to join our boutique creative team. In this role, you’ll drive the design process from concept to execution, creating compelling visuals that elevate brands and engage audiences across digital, print, web, and social platforms. About 70% of the work will focus on graphic design and branding, while the remaining 30% will involve light video editing for social media reels and motion graphics.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, small-team environment where you’ll wear multiple hats, collaborate directly with clients, and contribute to a wide variety of projects—from brand identity and websites to social campaigns and marketing collateral.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative design concepts for digital, print, web, and social media.
- Create and maintain brand guidelines, logos, and cohesive visual systems across multiple clients.
- Design print collateral, direct mail, billboards, infographics, and presentation decks.
- Support website design projects (UI/UX focus in Figma, no coding required).
- Design assets for digital campaigns, including ads, emails, and organic social media posts.
- Edit short-form video content (social reels, promotional clips, simple motion graphics).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in client-facing discussions when needed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines and quality.
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Strong portfolio showcasing branding, print, and digital design work.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects).
- Figma experience for web and UI/UX design.
- Solid understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.
- Experience designing for multiple brands or agency environments.
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken) with ability to take and implement feedback.
- Ability to handle both independent creative execution and collaborative team input.
Nice-to-Have:
- Canva familiarity for quick-turn projects.
- Experience creating simple motion graphics or advanced video editing.
- Comfort leading or contributing to client-facing calls.
- Background in presentation and pitch deck design.
What Success Looks Like (30-60-90 Days)
30 Days:
- Complete onboarding and demonstrate understanding of internal and client brand guidelines.
- Deliver first design projects with minimal revisions.
- Actively participate in team meetings and feedback sessions.
60 Days:
- Consistently produce high-quality designs across branding, print, and digital with limited back-and-forth revisions.
- Contribute to website and client branding projects with a strong grasp of design systems.
- Begin handling small video editing tasks for social content independently.
90 Days:
- Own multiple client design projects from concept to completion.
- Confidently balance branding, web, print, and video design needs.
- Demonstrate ability to manage multiple client accounts with efficiency and creativity.
- Trusted to collaborate directly with clients, bringing their brand visions to life with minimal oversight.
