About the Role

We’re hiring a Logistics & Operations Data Specialist to support the day-to-day logistics, inventory, and operational reporting functions of a growing ecommerce business.

This role is primarily focused on logistics coordination, inventory management, operational reporting, and spreadsheet-based analysis.

Alongside operations responsibilities, you’ll also help improve internal workflows using AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT — supporting areas such as reporting, dashboards, automation, and repetitive task optimization.

This is not a highly technical engineering role. We are looking for someone with strong logistics and operational thinking who is comfortable using modern AI tools to improve efficiency and systems over time.

What You’ll Be Doing

Logistics & Inventory Operations

  • Manage freight and shipment coordination end-to-end
  • Track deliveries and coordinate with warehouse partners
  • Create and manage purchase orders based on inventory forecasting and sales trends
  • Support inventory planning and stock management
  • Maintain accurate logistics and inventory records
  • Coordinate operational workflows to ensure smooth day-to-day execution

Ecommerce Operations & Reporting

  • Manage and update product data inside Shopify
  • Maintain operational spreadsheets and inventory trackers
  • Generate reports related to sales, returns, customer service, and product performance
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends and improve decision-making
  • Support operational planning through accurate reporting and forecasting

AI & Workflow Improvement

  • Use tools like Claude or ChatGPT to improve workflows and efficiency
  • Help build dashboards and automate repetitive operational tasks
  • Support simple AI-driven reporting and internal process improvements
  • Collaborate with developers when more technical integrations are required
  • Continuously explore ways AI can improve operations, reporting, and internal systems

  • Previous experience in logistics, inventory management, ecommerce operations, or supply chain coordination
  • Strong spreadsheet, reporting, and operational data management skills
  • Experience building or managing operational dashboards, workflow systems, or reporting processes
  • Comfortable using AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT in a practical business environment
  • Experience improving workflows, automating repetitive tasks, or supporting operational efficiency initiatives
  • Experience working with Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
