Position Summary
Are you a creative problem solver, an adaptive team leader and a strong collaborator? Panorama Global’s Social Impact Department is responsible for programmatic execution of a variety of programs, including Collaborative Learning for Impact Philanthropy, The Ascend Fund, and more. The Senior Program Officer, Social Impact, will manage a portfolio of programs in close consultation and partnership with the Social Impact Director(s) to manage program strategy, execution and documenting impact. We are looking for someone experienced in program management, facilitation, and stakeholder management.
This is a 9-month limited term engagement and exempt position reports to the Director, Social Impact, and may have one or more direct reports. This position is available on a fully remote basis within the United States.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Collaborative Leadership & Facilitation
Conceptualize and lead high-impact partnerships among participants, collaboratives, and networks.
Cultivate alignment of key stakeholders, including the development of a shared agenda and a plan to ensure messaging and activities are coordinated, strategic, and targeted to meet impact goals and resource mobilization efforts.
Develop well-informed communications strategies that drive equity and responsiveness to the needs of stakeholders and consider global context/broader perspectives.
Serve as project lead including day-to-day contact for the partnership stakeholders and lead on all coordination efforts, supported by a Project Manager, including meeting agendas, tracking action items, creating communication tools and resources, etc. Regularly review, measure, and analyze engagement activity participation, effectiveness, and outcomes.
Lead on development of collateral to support agenda design processes and principal engagement, including background briefs, talking points, and run-of show materials.
Lead on complex events and international travel planning for the partnership.
Grantmaking
Develop and implement a nimble re-granting program designed to respond to timely opportunities.
Lead on grantmaking process and communication to grantee partners and key stakeholders on progress of investments.
Identify and lead on uplifting grantee partner stories, progress, and opportunities through communication tactics leveraging the partnership’s individual and collective voice and platforms.
Partner with Finance and Operations team to implement grantmaking operations and communicating with applicants and grantees.
Knowledge Management
Develop and implement data analysis plans, promoting integrity in the data collection and methodology of our content production process.
Capture insights and trends from partnerships to share with other practitioners and key stakeholders in a cohesive and compelling narrative.
Synthesize sector knowledge and develop methods to share with the Panorama team, partner organizations, and external audiences.
Partner with the External Affairs Team and other Panorama teams to develop knowledge products and implement dissemination plans, including capturing the reach and impact of our work.
Organizational Engagement & Participation
Demonstrate curiosity, ask questions, and adapt to new learning.
Provide insights for developing initiatives, proposals, and reports.

Add value to the team and Panorama through proactive contributions.
Contribute to Panorama’s culture through committee involvement and team activities.
Represent Panorama as a brand ambassador externally.
Contribute to process improvement and strengthen our social change platform.
Ensure accurate data recording using Harvest, Salesforce, Lattice, SharePoint, and Certify.
Manage Individual Contributors and/or Interns, supporting their development.
Typical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
At least ten years of work experience or combination of relevant education and experience; 3 years of management responsibility
Experience in program design, implementation, management, and evaluation, or network coordination, crafting strategy to serve diverse constituents and sectors with cross-cultural competence
Excellent project management skills
Skill in meeting facilitation, from one-on-one meetings to larger convenings and roundtables
Track record of driving equitable and representative composition in groups, and building trust and forging consensus among multiple stakeholders
Ability to manage teams, serve as a leader, and collaborate in a multi-faceted organization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language, able to effectively synthesize information to reach diverse audiences and build consensus
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and willingness to learn other software programs
Desired Qualifications
Demonstrated coordination of working groups, cohorts, chapters, courses, or multiple-client portfolios
Experience operating in different cultural contexts, such as the Global South, the philanthropic sector, and social change organizations across intersectional or disparate issues
Ability to bring together thought leaders and facilitate generative conversations to identify good strategies and practices to make change
Knowledge of human-centered design

Compensation & Benefits
The starting salary for this role is between $105,000 and $112,000. When determining an initial offer, we carefully consider these factors: candidate skill and experience; room for growth within the band; and internal equity across the team.
