Principal Product Manager, Document Domain

PandaDoc is hiring a Principal Product Manager to lead the evolution of our Document Experience — redefining how professionals create, refine, collaborate on, and complete documents in an increasingly AI-driven world.

You’ll own the strategy and execution of PandaDoc’s core document experiences, shaping how structured content, collaboration, and intelligent assistance come together into cohesive workflows. Your work will help customers move faster from ideas to finalized agreements by making document creation more intuitive, adaptive, and connected.

This is a senior, hands-on role for a product leader who thrives at the intersection of user experience, platform systems, and applied AI. You’ll guide multiple squads, align cross-functional partners, and translate emerging technologies into scalable product systems — balancing exploration with disciplined delivery.

In this role, you will

• Lead high-impact initiatives across document creation, authoring and collaboration experiences.
• Shape cohesive end-to-end document workflows, ensuring users can move naturally from drafting to completion.
• Integrate AI capabilities directly into document experiences — including authoring, refinement, structure, and automation — with a focus on real user outcomes.
• Define product direction for modern document systems, blending structured content, intelligent assistance, and collaborative workflows.
• Partner closely with design, engineering, AI platform, and core platform teams on APIs, integrations, and data models that enable scalable experiences.
• Collaborate with other senior PMs to ensure consistent, connected journeys across PandaDoc.
• Drive continuous improvement through experimentation, customer feedback, and product telemetry.
• Shape the long-term direction of PandaDoc’s Document Domain, ensuring flexibility, coherence, and readiness for evolving AI-powered capabilities.

About You

• 7+ years of hands-on product management experience in B2B SaaS, ideally across document creation, productivity, collaboration, or content platforms.
• Proven experience owning complex user-facing domains end-to-end — from strategy through delivery and iteration.
• Familiar with document systems, structured content, and cross-format editing models (PDF, DOCX, Markdown, or AI-generated content).
• Direct experience shipping AI-powered product features, including defining UX behavior, rollout strategies, and iteration based on real-world usage.
• Comfortable integrating AI into workflows thoughtfully, focusing on measurable user outcomes rather than standalone capabilities.
• Skilled in rapid discovery and iteration using prototypes, experiments, and AI-assisted tools.
• Demonstrated AI fluency — using AI for analysis, prototyping, and workflow automation, with strong judgment to translate ambiguous AI capabilities into dependable product experiences.
• Strong communicator who simplifies complexity, frames trade-offs clearly, and aligns cross-functional teams.
• Pragmatic and execution-oriented, balancing experimentation with prioritization and delivery discipline.
• Comfortable partnering with deeply technical teams on system design, APIs, and platform constraints.
