OutsourcedIn is partnering with an established Australian residential kitchen and cabinetry business to hire an experienced Graphic Designer / Kitchen Interior Designer with strong Australian kitchen design experience.

This role requires a minimum of 5+ years hands-on experience in Australian kitchen design and proven proficiency in CabMaster. Candidates without Australian industry experience will not be considered.

About the Role

You will be responsible for producing high-quality kitchen layouts, 3D renders, and production-ready drawings using CabMaster.

This is a design-to-production role requiring both strong creative ability and technical accuracy. The ideal candidate understands Australian residential standards, cabinetry construction methods, appliance integration requirements, and local client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Kitchen Design & Layout Development

• Design custom kitchen layouts using CabMaster

• Prepare detailed 2D floor plans and elevations

• Produce high-quality 3D renders and visual presentations

• Create joinery layouts and cabinetry detailing

• Optimise layouts for functionality, workflow, and space efficiency

• Ensure compliance with Australian appliance standards and design regulations

Client Presentation & Visualisation

• Prepare client-ready presentation drawings and render packs

• Assist with material, colour, hardware, and fittings selection

• Revise designs based on client and builder feedback

• Ensure all designs align with Australian residential market standards

Technical & Production Documentation

• Produce detailed manufacturing and installation drawings

• Generate CNC-ready outputs where required

• Ensure cabinetry documentation complies with:

  • Australian residential building standards

  • Builder and site requirements

• Revise drawings based on:

  • Site measurements

  • Builder feedback

  • Engineering adjustments

Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Minimum 5+ years experience in Australian kitchen and cabinetry design

• Proven proficiency using CabMaster

• Strong understanding of:

  • Australian cabinetry construction methods

  • Appliance integration standards

  • Residential design workflows in Australia

• Ability to produce both:

  • High-quality 3D renders

  • Accurate, production-ready technical drawings

• Strong attention to detail and layout precision

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highly Regarded

• Experience working with Australian cabinet makers, kitchen studios, or residential builders

• Experience in custom and high-end residential projects

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Experience collaborating remotely with Australian teams
