WORDPRESS DEVELOPER

The ideal candidate should have experience in Design and Web Development Skills & WordPress Development Expertise.

General expectation:

1. Follow the assigned work schedule and be available during designated work hours.
2. Adhere to IAU holidays unless otherwise approved. Time off outside IAU holidays is considered personal leave and must be requested in advance.
3. Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately within the given deadlines.
4. Maintain proactive communicationupdate supervisors if there are delays, challenges, or required clarifications regarding assigned tasks.

5. Use IAU-approved platforms to submit work and report progress.

6. Maintain confidentiality regarding IAUs internal policies, student information, and any other sensitive data.

7. Document and report completed work as required by the department.

8. Secure company data by following IAUs IT policies.

9. Report any technical issues immediately to the relevant department.

Qualification Criteria:

1. Design and Web Development Skills

   1. Proven experience as a Web/Graphic Designer and Developer.
   2. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
   3. Expertise in creating wireframes, design mockups, and PSD designs.
   4. Strong front-end development skills.
   5. Knowledge of web and mobile best practices.
   6. SEO optimization experience.
   7. Ability to design user interfaces for responsive websites.
   8. Experience in creating brand collateral and ensuring cohesive visual branding.
   9. Proficiency in developing websites from layout to functionality.
   10. Experience with managing website files, PDFs, and other digital assets.
2. Wordress Development Expertise
   1. Proficiency in WordPress.
   2. Knowledge of WooCommerce for e-commerce websites.
   3. Strong command of programming languages, including HTML, CSS, CSS3 and PHP.
   4. Experience with MySQL database management.
   5. Ability to design and implement user-friendly WordPress themes.
   6. Hands-on experience as a WordPress Developer.
