The Marketing Team❤️

The Marketing Team at OpenZeppelin drives awareness and adoption across every product and service we ship, from the flagship OpenZeppelin Contracts Libraries to open source development tooling like Relayers and Monitor and the new Financial Institutions Stack.

Working hand-in-hand with Product, Design, Sales, and Open Source Engineering, the team owns messaging, go-to-market strategy, content, and events that position OpenZeppelin as the standard for blockchain development.

What you'll be doing

As OpenZeppelin’s Product Marketer, you will own the full go-to-market lifecycle—research, positioning, launch, and growth—for OpenZeppelin Open Source product and service lines. You’ll translate technical features into clear value for developers, enterprises, and financial institutions, maintain the global content calendar, and make sure the right story reaches the right audience.

  • Develop GTM strategiesworking with product, sales, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure successful launches as well as communicate new features and upgrades effectively.
  • Own messaging and content creationdeveloping compelling content, guides & tutorials, and messaging that communicate the value proposition and features of OpenZeppelin products and services to a technical audience, including developers and security professionals.
  • Run content & channels operationsmanaging the company-wide content calendar, writing and editing social posts, blog posts, landing pages, newsletters, and light-technical guides that resonate with technical audiences.
  • Execute campaigns end-to-end coordinating with Demand Generation to launch multi-touch campaigns, setting targets, briefs, and timelines as well as tracking funnel metrics and iterating.
  • Champion the community voiceengaging with the developer and blockchain communities through social media, forums, and events to build brand awareness, foster relationships, and gather feedback for product improvement.

You have

  • 3+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 2 years hands-on in blockchain.
  • Proven track record launching technical products and crafting GTM plans that hit adoption or revenue goals.
  • A strong understanding of concepts such as smart contracts, L1/L2, DeFi, crosschain interoperability, account abstraction, onchain privacy.
  • Exceptional writing and content creation skills.
  • Ability to write for a developer audience (no code writing).
  • Comfort in owning social channels and a multi-product content calendar.
  • Data-oriented mindset. You measure what you ship and iterate quickly.
  • Ability to develop strategic marketing plans based on market research and addiction to data analysis, with a keen eye for identifying growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and engage with the community.

Nice to have

  • Led or co-led large-scale demand-generation campaigns.
  • Experience with Figma to collaborate with designers.
  • Experience creating video content.
  • Working experience with open source products/projects.

Location

  • All positions at OpenZeppelin are 100% remote, however you shouldbe located between UTC-5 and UTC+1 to be considered for this position.
