Your Impact

As an Account Executive specializing in Data Protection at TechGuard Solutions, you will be a key driver in helping clients secure their critical data. Your role will involve leveraging your expertise in data protection products, services, software, and solutions to lead sales efforts within your assigned focus areas. You will proactively drive campaigns to build a strong pipeline, using your specialized knowledge to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities. You may manage named accounts, cover a specific geography, or focus on a high-potential, competitive attack account.

What Kind of Work Would You Be Doing?

  • Actively prospect within accounts to discover or cultivate data protection solution sales opportunities, working closely with the account manager.
  • Manage the sales pipeline to ensure steady progress and successful deal closures.
  • Formulate and expand solutions to generate additional product or service attachments and upsell revenue.
  • Engage in channel sales where applicable, to broaden reach and impact.
  • Establish professional, consultative relationships with clients by developing a deep understanding of their industry-specific needs.
  • Work with clients up to IT management level, ensuring alignment with their technical and business objectives.
  • Contribute to pipeline building by generating leads, referrals, and new customer opportunities within the data protection specialty area.
  • Focus on growing contractual renewals for small-to-mid-size accounts with limited complexity, driving higher total contract-value renewals.
  • Interface with internal and external industry experts to anticipate customer needs and facilitate solutions development.
  • Build sales readiness and reduce client learning curves through effective knowledge transfer in data protection.

What Achievements Should You Have So Far?

  • Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quotas and diverse business customer interfaces.
  • Proficiency in Italian business language is essential.
  • Detailed knowledge of key customer types or specific customers in the data protection domain.
  • Typically 3+ years of experience in specialty sales, with a proven track record of success.
