ABOUT THE JOB

A Community Moderator and Instructor will support the Education Services Teams. This unique, hybrid role will lead moderation efforts within our online Community platform while also delivering software training sessions. An ideal candidate will have a CPM/EPM implementation background with training experience. This role will maintain Community engagement within our Forums and are responsible for preparing, creating, and publishing content, responding to users within our forums, and working with various departments to drive content/response needs.

This team is proactive, self-learning and ambitious to continuously stay informed on new software features, implementation practices and the product roadmap.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform instructor-led training (ILT) or virtual ILT to customers, partners, and employees on how to use the software while understanding the needs of each attendee type.
• Conduct Audits and Quality Control.
• Update existing content for new software feature.
• Facilitate hands-on Onboarding workshops for customers and partners.
• Assist with generating new content and classes based on the needs of the training audience.
• Gain and maintain a thorough knowledge of OneStream and MarketPlace Solutions.
• Proactively reach out to additional departments (Services, Engineering, QA, Product Management, Support, Partner Enablement) in order to enhance the knowledge and understanding of the product and new features.
• Deliver workshops at the annual user conference.
• Monitor and moderate OneStream’s technical Community Forums by finding creative and active ways to engage Community members to continue conversations and help provide answers
• Enforce and uphold Community guidelines and governance, including response SLA times and maintaining a positive and helpful atmosphere
• Identify and analyze issues, patterns and trends in the Community, assisting leadership with surfacing findings to appropriate business units.
• Work with internal teams to create, edit and publish content as needed based on community needs and gaps
• Collaborate and provide guidance to company SMEs that participate within the Community
• Regularly report on feedback, forum activity and insights gained from the Community with appropriate stakeholders

QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Education, Learning and Development, or relevant experience in a similar field.
• 3-5 years of CPM/EPM experience with any of the following products:
• OneStream Software
• FDM (Financial Data Quality Management) or UpStream
• Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
• Hyperion Planning
• Hyperion Essbase
• SAP Outlooksoft BPC
• SAP BOFC (Cartesis)
• IBM Cognos
• Or other EPM solutions
• 2 years of technical software facilitation and presentation skills
• Accounting and Finance industry experience
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• Must be fluent in English

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Community Moderator experience within a Software Community
• LMS Administrator, Production Manager, or Learning Management System Manager
• Business analysis, requirements gathering, Learning Management System Administration
• OneStream Software experience
• SQL Programming and Relational Databases experience
• Experience creating and updating training materials

TRAVEL

• Travel Requirement: May be required to travel for ILT in physical classrooms.
