Our Newest Opportunity:
The Client Executive, Private Client P&C is responsible for developing, managing, and retaining a portfolio of high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients, providing tailored Property & Casualty insurance solutions. This role requires a consultative sales approach, deep knowledge of the P&C insurance market, and the ability to build strong relationships with affluent individuals and families across Massachusetts and the broader East Region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Business Development:
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new HNW/UHNW clients through networking, referrals, and targeted marketing initiatives.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve growth targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with centers of influence (e.g., wealth managers, attorneys, real estate professionals).
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary advisor for clients, providing expert guidance on risk management and insurance solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and coverage reviews for clients’ personal assets (homes, autos, valuables, collections, yachts, etc.).
- Deliver exceptional client service, ensuring timely responses to inquiries, policy changes, and claims support.
Policy Placement & Renewal:
- Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to design and place customized insurance programs.
- Oversee the renewal process, proactively identifying opportunities for coverage enhancements or cost savings.
Market & Product Expertise:
- Stay current on industry trends, carrier products, and regulatory changes affecting the P&C insurance landscape.
- Educate clients and internal teams on emerging risks and innovative insurance solutions.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure all client files, proposals, and communications comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records in the agency management system.
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
- Proven track record of sales success and client retention in a consultative, relationship-driven environment.
- In-depth knowledge of personal lines P&C products (homeowners, auto, umbrella, valuables, etc.).
- Experience working with affluent clientele and understanding their unique risk profiles.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., Epic, Applied) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with major HNW carriers (e.g., Chubb, PURE, AIG Private Client, Cincinnati, Nationwide Private Client).
Preferred Certifications
- Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC)
- Chartered Private Risk and Insurance Advisor (CPRIA)
- Certified Personal Risk Manager (CPRM)
- Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
Education, Training and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in personal lines insurance, with a focus on HNW/UHNW clients
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license
Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
