Ofload's journey began in 2019, born from a vision to revolutionize the Australian road freight industry. Founded by Geoffroy Henry, who brought a wealth of experience from diverse sectors including finance, retail, e-commerce, and logistics start-ups like HelloFresh and BeCool, Ofload was established to tackle the inherent inefficiencies and lack of transparency in traditional trucking. In 2020, Ofload secured its seed funding, followed by a significant Series A funding round in 2021, which valued the company at over AU$100 million. This financial backing enabled Ofload to expand its team, enhance its technological capabilities, and broaden its service offerings. A key milestone in its growth trajectory was the acquisition of CIA Logistics in September 2022, which increased Ofload's headcount to over 120 and expanded its national footprint across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. Throughout its evolution, Ofload has remained committed to empowering the 'long tail' of small to medium-sized transport operators, providing them with the digital tools and network access to compete effectively with larger players. The company has consistently focused on innovation, developing platforms like its Carbon Analytics Platform to help businesses measure and reduce their carbon footprint.
