Overview

Oak View Group's Business Development Team, part of its Global Marketing Group, assists sales leads in creating engaging and attractive content at the root of our company’s growth, and we're looking for a design intern to join the team who is passionate about design-driven storytelling. You’ll assist the design team to bringing sales proposals and presentation decks to life, creating materials from print collateral, infographics, and branding. And you will experience in working in a thriving creative environment and learn about the Sports and Entertainment and Hospitality Industries.

Location: Remote

Reports to: Senior Director, Creative Services – Global Marketing Group

Internship Dates: Summer Semester (May-August), Not to exceed 20 hours per week

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Assist in producing compelling, high-level, creative graphic design for use in proposals by Oak View Group’s sales teams
  • Work as a team player and independently, selecting the best course of action under tight deadlines
  • Ensure proper use of all design assets including logos and images across multiple brands
  • Consistently present new and out-of-the-box ideas for content design, and share best practices with fellow team members

Qualifications

What you’ll do:

· Learn and present new and out-of-the-box ideas for content design, and share best practices with fellow team members

Who you’ll be:

  • Highly creative, engaged, and an eye for detail
  • Love for fast-paced, ever changing work environment
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work across multiple divisions
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Particularly InDesign), Keynote, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
  • Eye for layout, typography, composition, and color
  • Ability to meet short and long deadlines, and switch gears quickly
  • Working on a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent art / graphic certification required
  • Additional multimedia skills encouraged
  • A passion for Interior Design, Hospitality and/or the Sports & Entertainment Industry a plus
  • It is highly recommended to include a portfolio in your application
