We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our team in Barreal, Heredia, Costa Rica.

Business Analyst

The Business Systems Analyst formulates and defines systems and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.

Position overview

BA will be reviewing SDLC adherence by team.

Position's General Duties and Tasks:

• Reviewing a targeted number of releases each week to check adherence to 20 SDLC standards/control requirements.
• Checking several reports, compiling/documenting results by team, and then communicating those results to team leaders
• They will also need to be able to answer questions and emails from the teams about their results.
• Follow up and escalate as needed if teams don't reply in the timeframe expected.
• Roll up/document/report on progress of all SDLC adherence reviews completed.
• As this is a new process, they will be expected to speak up to make suggestions to improve process and documentation.

Qualifications

Must have Skills:

• Some technical knowledge to understand terminology
• Must have good written communication skills.
• Must be self-disciplined and able to work independently with guidance and support from an associate

Education Requirements

• • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science or undergraduate.
