About The Role

We are looking for an experienced and proven leader to helm Niche’s Training, Enablement, & Support team, part of Niche’s Revenue Operations Organization. The Director of Training & Enablement is a visionary leader who can not only spearhead the development and implementation of comprehensive training and enablement programs, but also strategically manage and expand our revenue support functions. You'll be instrumental in empowering our revenue teams with the tools and resources necessary for success. This role involves direct management of the Sales Support Team Lead and oversight of the Sales Training & Enablement professionals, reporting to the Senior Director of Revenue Operations.

What You Will Do

During the first month

  • Collaborate with various team members to learn about the company
  • Work with current sales and operations team leaders to begin to understand our customers, products, and systems
  • Understand high level current state of approvals and systems guardrails
  • Get an understanding of the tech stack that our sales and operations teams use
  • Begin to develop knowledge of the core processes that power the sales org

Within 3 months

  • Begin to design and deliver engaging training programs, workshops, and online modules to enhance employee knowledge, skills, and performance
  • Document and disseminate processes & workflows with various audiences and levels in mind
  • Partner with Marketing on delivery and use of key sales collateral
  • Own Revenue team communication channel and delivery of need-to-know information from across the organization to the direct sellers and customer success managers
  • Collaborate with the sales, legal, finance, and the broader Revenue Operations team to develop and implement deal desk policies, processes, and procedures
  • Guide a new manager in the leadership of individual contributors reviewing and assess deal proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with company policies and guidelines

Within 6 months

  • Provide guidance to the Support Team leadership on the standardization of Salesforce use, deal processing and troubleshooting to move individual deals over the finish line while identifying areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement Niche’s Revenue Enablement strategy & systems training curriculum
  • Develop and implement Niche’s Sales Training curriculum
  • Fully own New Hire training and ongoing professional development for Sales
  • Independently lead a team of Training, Enablement, and Support professionals, managing professional development plans, career paths, budget, etc.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and analysis of performance data; identify performance gaps and develop targeted enablement strategies to address them
  • Partner closely with Product Development, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to disseminate key Niche product, brand, and protocol updates to the Revenue generating teams
  • Own sales collateral, templates, and additional pitch tools, driving adoption and usefulness to clients, in partnership with Marketing

Within 12 months

  • Modernize Niche’s Sales Support & Approval functions; scale Deal Desk execution
  • Drive Salesforce adoption and delight
  • Uplevel the closing skills of Niche’s sales force
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders with Revenue Operations to scale processes and adoption
  • Continuously evaluate and improve support, deal desk and enablement tools, systems, and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What We Are Looking For

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in sales, training, and/or operations
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • A strategic leader who is not afraid to dive deep where necessary
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of individual contributors and people managers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • A strong technical inclination with the ability to translate complicated processes for a non-technical audience
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess training needs and measure the effectiveness of programs.
  • Salesforce experience
  • Experience with sales engagement, revenue intelligence, and enablement platforms such as Groove, Yesware, Gong, etc
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and training methodologies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Process oriented; high level of organizational, project, and time management skills
  • Ability to vet and hire A+ employees
  • High level of integrity and professionalism when dealing with sensitive and confidential information

Compensation

Our national target base salary range is $147,000-$183,000, plus participation in our Annual Bonus and Stock Option Program. Base compensation will be commensurate with experience and skills.
