Next Phase Solutions and Services, Inc. is seeking a talented Content Strategist/Developer to join our team. As a Content Strategist/Developer, you will be responsible for developing content and executing content strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement content strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement
- Research and analyze industry trends to ensure content relevance and effectiveness
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and insights for content creation
- Write and edit high-quality content for various channels, including website, blog, social media, and email
- Optimize content for SEO to improve organic visibility
- Monitor and measure content performance using analytics tools and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure content updates are free from errors and compliant with accessibility mandates
- Create and lead presentations to internal teams (Growth, Information Technology Practice, Engineering Practice)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support the revision of of existing pages and the creations of new web content
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Information Systems
- Proven experience as a Content Strategist/Developer or similar role
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful content strategies
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
- Experience with SEO and content optimization
- Proficiency in content management systems and analytics tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in content strategy
- Excellent technical writing skills and proven experience in systems with complex requirements
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to team with others to meet project objectives
- Understanding of the system development lifecycle as implemented with Agile; SAFe knowledge a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and frequent changes in priorities
- Ability to work independently and seek help as needed
- Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities
Required Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in web content strategy/development for a technical services/consulting organization.
- Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or a Permanent Resident
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Information Systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience with WordPress platform management and content development
- Experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or other coding languages for the Web is a plus
- Experience leading new site development and collaborating with stakeholders to plan and implement new Web projects
- Familiarity with U.S. Web Design System, 21st Century Integrated Digital Experience Act, and best practices for usability
- Experience presenting to leadership teams
- Knowledge of federal government contracting and proposal development is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to navigate in an office setting unassisted
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
- Strong speaking skills, including the ability to articulate thoughts in a clear manner and excellent word enunciation skills are required
