Netflix is a leading entertainment services company seeking a Machine Learning Scientist (L5) to join their Data Science & Engineering team. This role focuses on improving member experience and efficiency through real-time fraud detection and optimization, requiring ownership of ML model development lifecycle and strong communication skills. The team collaborates with Payment leads and analysts to leverage machine learning solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Deep experience developing and deploying Machine Learning models
Exceptional communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly
Strong technical judgment when assessing solution deployment
Deep familiarity with the ML lifecycle
Willingness to learn and absorb business context
Strong experience with Python and ML/DL frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, Keras, PyTorch, TensorFlow)
An advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Computational Social Science, or a related field
