Machine Learning Scientist (L5) - Media Planning

Netflix is seeking a Machine Learning Scientist (5th level) to join the Media Planning and Recommendation team in Ads DSE. This role focuses on building machine learning models and algorithms to improve the success of the company's advertising business, leveraging a broad range of modeling techniques and applying analytical rigor. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical findings into business impact and drive product direction.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD or Master’s) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
• Proficiency in Python or Scala.
• Deep knowledge of machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis techniques.
• Experience with prototyping and deploying models using large-scale production data.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical results into business impact.
